8/16 - Disneyland Paris, France
Usually by our third day in a Disney park our bodies ache from the stress of being on our feet all day and being thrown around by various attractions. This trip however, things were different and we had been injecting much more “leisure” time into our normal action-packed days - showing up to the parks an hour or two after open, people-watching on a benches, taking long food breaks… It was the most relaxed Disney vacation that we had ever had and it allowed us to wake up relatively fresh for another day of fun and excitement.
With it being our last day, we split our time in both parks evenly, spending the late morning and early afternoon in Walt Disney Studios, and the rest of the day in Magic Kingdom. We had already had a chance to ride all of the rides we wanted at least once, and so our last day was spent re-riding things, taking in the atmosphere, and riding on anything else we hadn’t gotten on yet including Dumbo, the Carousel, and It’s A Small World.
As the day came to a close, we did our final rounds in the park and selected The Flight of Peter Pan as our last and final ride - my favorite! Even at the end of the day its wait time was still a ridiculous 45 minutes, but it was completely worth it.
Saying our goodbyes we slowly plodded up Main Street, taking in the glow of the signs and string-lights that lined the buildings and frequently turning around for another look at the shrinking castle in the distance. With one last look, hug, and kiss in the park, we walked out the gates and back to the metro for our final night of our three-day Disney Adventure.
